APW - Hamilton, Grade 993, 21J, 16S, very heavy 14K multicolor gold drum style K&U (Keller & Untermeyer) HC recase with spectacular oceanside scene to rear that includes a lighthouse with inset diamond in the foreground, two ships at sea, and a majestic sunset in the distance, front and rear perimeters with multicolor foliate border, bow with chain guards, gold cuvette, glazed observation cover over mvt, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#1351504. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates, some mild oxide to steelwork; dial with short hl at perimeter near 4; excellent hands, finish loss to tip of seconds-hand; case shows little wear, cuvette with fine scratches from past slipped openings, front with few dings toward perimeter and few mild shallow dents, small dent to band at 8, excellent engraving detail, bezel is filed for a second lever-set position; front glass crystal with small edge flake at bottom and with some glue excess around its seat, good rear glass crystal.
